Spanish Intensive A2 → B1
Eight weeks, four evenings a week, one big leap: from getting by to holding real conversations about work, plans and opinions.

From past tenses to persuasive opinions.
You'll master the preterite vs. imperfect, start using the present subjunctive, and practise the vocabulary of work, travel, health and the news. Every Thursday is a "mission night": you'll leave the classroom to complete a task in Spanish around Rotterdam — from ordering at a Venezuelan arepería to interviewing a shop owner.
Telling stories
Preterite vs. imperfect, anecdotes, sequencing words.
Plans & wishes
Future, conditional, “ojalá” and the first subjunctive.
Opinions & debate
Agreeing, disagreeing, persuading — politely and not.
Real-world B1
Mock DELE B1 speaking exam and a final presentation.
Lucía Ortega
Head of our Spanish department and an accredited DELE examiner. Lucía has taught in Madrid, Bogotá and Rotterdam and loves a good debate about tortilla (with onion, obviously).
